Becoming One
I am free to do all things,
But some of them are not wise;
Because of sin that it brings,
From the deceit and the lies.
Am free to do anything,
What my heart may desire;
But because of one small fling,
Cast in the lake of fire.
I will not let the power,
Of the tempting by a lure,
Where the milk has turned sour,
And entering the wrong door.
As the body desires,
Of the flesh rather than food;
So that it acquires,
A firm emotional mood.
The body is not for lust,
And not for us to behold;
It is for God, who we trust,
Letting His plan to unfold.
Just as woman and a man,
In marriage becoming one;
The same is so in His plan,
We as well will join the Son.
