To Please God
I make a request unto you,
By mercies of God that you give;
And honoring Him each day through,
So you may eternally live.
Do not keep this world in your heart,
Change behavior of a new mind;
To be giving you a new start,
So with Heaven being aligned.
Experience to what is good,
And that will be pleasing to God;
For gaining knowledge as you should,
On how you can honor and laud.
But I say to everyone,
Through the grace given unto me;
Be as humble as was the Son,
And wise thoughts will help you to see.
Let your love be without deceit,
As you are kind to each other;
Smiling at each one that you greet,
Treating them just like a brother.
Your faith will be giving you strength,
Over evil you can measure;
To persevere at any length,
To reach Heaven and the treasure.
