About Love

Her smile lights up my heart
In my ear she's whispering
Now I'm 100 yd dashing
Through my eyes you see passion

Hand to my forehead
Can you feel the fever
I've got a case so bad
After being caught in the storm

She calls it her love
Only this is one I'd weather
She told me she had the cure-all
Her lips would be my savior

Who knew she told me a tale so tall
Cause they only made me fall deeper
Like I was gone off that liquor
I tried to punch that drunk called love

But love knocked me out
With a one hit a quitter
Never did I see the arrow
That came from the quiver

I awoke to a soulful sound
Got up and almost fell off my cloud
Realizing it wasn't due to fear
Just the excitement of having her near
