Marking time in Amsterdam
As tulips sway and smile
Forty years have flown on by
You`ve reached that special mile

Life begins, experience
Has taught you how to live
How to love and how to take
But mostly how to give

With wonder see the sunshine

Life is grand at forty
Mistakes have come and gone
