Better Things to Come
Let the grace of God within you,
Have living power that is true;
It has been given in your hands,
From the Holy Spirit as it commands.
God did not give power of fear,
But power of love to hold dear;
Along with having self-control,
For guarding the door to your soul.
Never have a feeling of shame,
In the words the Scriptures proclaim;
You are a witness for the Lord,
And cannot let Him be ignored.
Good News that we cannot measure,
Of salvation we can treasure;
Not by account of any deed,
But by grace and a faith we need.
It is clear through revelation,
And going through jubilation;
Of our Savior Jesus Christ,
Was revived after sacrificed.
For death is no longer the end,
While our lives will transcend;
As we are coming to the light,
To be standing within His sight.
