Be Ready
I will not put you to shame,
Rather only to proclaim;
So you may see what is right,
For the Lord within His sight.
You have only one Father,
For your heavenly Brother;
Since I gave you the good news,
That Jesus Christ paid your dues.
So I desire that you,
Are able to construe;
And being clear in the ways,
Of Christ through all of your days.
As I teach everywhere,
It is the Gospel I share;
Since I always will abide,
Never having any pride.
For I am a humble man,
And knowing God has a plan,
That will be involving me,
Where in time that I will be.
For far from being absurd,
His Kingdom is not in word;
Rather it is in power,
Soon in a coming hour.
