Times of Stress
In the last days you will see,
Times of trouble come to be;
For men will be full of pride,
With greed nestled deep inside.
Many things that will be heard,
As conflicting to the Word;
And that people will proclaim,
Putting a Christian to shame.
Laws being passed that breach,
Against what the Scriptures teach;
Taking us further from God,
That the liberals applaud.
Free time that many treasure,
For loving personal pleasure;
Takes it away from the Lord,
And vastly being ignored.
So the burden of their sin,
That is corrupting within;
Has been inducing their mind,
To be rude rather than kind.
Learn in knowing what is true,
And keep living it in you;
And throughout these times of stress,
Rest assured the Lord will bless.
