Lord of the Angels
Dedicated to the Judge of the Earth
So much better than an angel,
As we are told in the Bible;
Heritage more noble than theirs,
As we already know God shares.
To which angel that God has said,
You are my Son the living bread;
Being the Father to the Son,
And together to be as One.
His only Son that He will send,
That for us cannot comprehend;
But let the angels worship Him,
As the Lord to all seraphim.
As His servants flames of fire,
And winds that angels acquire;
Because His seat of the power,
Will be like a righteous tower.
As for the rod of His Kingdom,
Is of righteousness with wisdom;
That is surrounded by the love,
As God had intended thereof.
Heaven is the work of His hands,
And everything He commands;
And will return within due time,
Judging each one for our crime.
