All the souls were dead

No more to hear the cannon roar
nor hear the screams its shell ignores
the price is paid ten fold and more
now all the souls are dead.
They all stood tall with guts and pride
though many screamed their silent cries
then all was lost… mankind had died
now all the souls were dead.
There was a chance that hope prevailed
but just like love, hope had failed
now in the coffin the final nail…
cause…
ALL THE SOULS ARE DEAD!!!
