You Found Me
I followed the melodious song
Of my laughter...
Hiding somewhere amid painted tulip visions
And the usual daydreams
Darting between green blades of certainty
Blending in with oaks of courage
Embracing the clear cool waters
Of myself
It was I against the world and...
For a moment I tasted it
The wine of my freedom from your torment
A long awaited drink
I grew bold in my actions
Never realizing that my securities
In my own sanity, this strength
Could be false once more
I followed the melodious song
Of my laughter...
Hiding somewhere amid painted tulip visions
And the usual daydreams
Thinking I would need not seek
Any other sanctuary...and I did err
For in the end, the unexpected end
You found me...
Depression
