The Tear
Without a sound you dance for me
Creating a tale of remembrance
Each salted shimmer, a door opening
Bringing shadows on my heart, to light
Oh and how I ache, my body shudders
Not receiving the comfort promised
As your caress enwrapped me in what I longed
To simply leave behind....
I continue to bring you forth
Like an addict giving in to self sacrifice
As you become boldened in every inch you take
Flaunting to happiness, your right
To be there...
Yet, how can I fault you, oh torturous tear
Your intentions were true to form
You spoke as my voice when I could not
Proclaiming so simply...
I hurt...
