Love the One You Serve

Let us have love for each other,
Just like for sister and brother;
For the fact that love is of God,
To whom we give honor and laud.

Each one of us who does have love,
Then is a child from above;
As well as spiritually knows,
In the Holy Spirit he grows.

But he who does not have the love,
Will not have the knowledge thereof;
Since not knowing about Heaven,
Will not know what will be given.

For love from God had sent His Son,
Knowing just what had to be done;
As a means to rid our sin,
And our chance to cleanse within.

Err is human forgive divine,
As glory to brightly shine;
Because His love is made complete,
For being part of His elite.

Even though we do not observe,
To love the One we do not serve;
The Lord still knows just where we lack,
To still forgive and love us back.
