The Right Road
I have set before you this day,
A fork that is in the pathway;
One direction is life and good,
And where the love of God has stood.
Another towards death and evil,
And waiting for your arrival;
As a prize for your desire,
Taken to the lake of fire.
To go His ways follow His laws,
God will overlook all your flaws;
And take you down His path of grace,
Into such a heavenly place.
And as you live here on this earth,
He will be increasing your worth;
As His blessings will be with you,
With each and every day through.
But if your heart is turned away,
Then you might be going astray;
Where dark evil lurks on the path,
And no protection from the wrath.
Still not too late for to decide,
In His Word for you to abide;
And a heart for knowing God,
As you worship honor and laud.
