It casts its eerie shadow across my heart,
a surreal darkness brings painful memories
that shoot through my mind like fiery arrows,
replacing the joy of my soul with dark dismay.
My life has become enshrouded by ominous clouds
of stormy loss leaving me to wallow in self pity
and all because of her leaving.
