An Exhortation to Constancy
Let your voice be heard,
By those in your sight;
From Christ in the Word,
To brighten their light.
Not of fighting words,
Which will have no gain;
Stick to the records,
The Word does sustain.
Let it be your care,
In blessing from God;
That you go and share,
That they can applaud.
No cause having shame,
Going to impart;
For as you proclaim,
Should come from the heart.
Wherever you walk,
Remember each rule;
So that as you talk,
Not being a fool.
Stick to what is true,
With the attitude;
Since Christ expects you,
Never to be rude.
