Confession of Former Life
Not having righteousness,
Which being of the Law;
Rather through blessedness,
Your faith deletes the flaw.
Faith in Christ you may know,
That gives you the power;
No matter where you go,
Turns temptation sour.
As the Scriptures have said,
Like Him you feel His pains;
And come back from the dead,
To be with as He reigns.
There will be this reward,
Though we have no merit;
Deserving from the Lord,
For us to inherit.
But I continue hope,
That I am made complete;
Realizing the full scope,
As part of the elite.
But it is clear to me,
With Christ within my sight;
I am able to see,
The pureness of the light.
