Our Confidence in Christ
As I pray and have confessed,
I know that any request;
For the Lord will give an ear,
Because God will always hear.
I am sure that God gives an ear,
Since I know that He is near;
Because I am willing to share,
With our Lord through my prayer.
God will not help with my task,
If I will not go and ask;
This is boldness that we must,
Always put in our trust.
So we must trust to believe,
In order for us to receive;
Confident it will be done,
While going through His Son.
If you have seen someone sin,
Show them how they must begin;
To regret as they confess,
So God will forgive and bless.
You are a child of God,
The Father that you must laud;
If you want to live beyond,
After your earthly bond.
