Hinterland HavensSnuggled away in some sleepy hollows, A slumbering haven where nature wallows, Hides pretty Palmwoods, an old country town One of many small jewels in the hinterland crown, Looking down from the ranges, the valley below, It's rural connections putting its honour on show, Proud Palmwoods' heritage is there on display, Its the perfect retreat, to both reside and play. Our neighbours Woombye, have a similar style, Some visitors call in and ponder awhile, Nestling close to what mother nature calls home, To this rustic green haven they love to come, Driving the winding road to the top of the range, Escaping a hot day with its own climate change, Sits picturesque Montville with its charm and grace, A magnet for people seeking lavender and lace,, Then along to Maleny, a town lost in time, Their alternative style not always for mine Opting for the organic and a natural crop, In need of a break, here's a perfect stop, Mapleton and Flaxton have views to the coast, Sharing awesome vistas, their position they boast, From the green of the valley to the blue of the sea, There is nowhere in Australia more beautiful to see, Cities can be busy, high in stress, full of bustle Then head for the hills, say goodbye to the hustle, See what the Sunshine Coast wants you to share, Absorb our beauty, breathe in our fresh air, Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
