Live in the Life
What can we really say,
Should we remain in sin;
To have more grace each day,
For cleansing us within.
How may we who are dead,
In sin go on living;
And not righteous instead,
Just ask of forgiving.
You should already know,
Through baptism into Christ;
Your death just did flow,
Through Him when sacrificed.
As Jesus rose again,
Death just stayed in the grave;
Dying for what had been,
For a new life He gave.
So being made like Him,
We will in the same way;
With the hope not so grim,
Real soon come Judgment Day.
Until that day is here,
We must stay on His path;
And continue to fear,
To be spared from His wrath.
