Lending a shoulder for others cry on
If unwelcome bothers chase you behind Put up with ill timed sorrows in grace If you are coldly hurt by chilly blames It is not a reason to be in deep grief Though you fulfill pure deeds of others Today and tomorrow are different in brief No wonder some are forgetful to return Even a line of praise in sincere words You wipe tears off ever so many souls Your shoulder is to cry them pretty hard Mending their cracked hopeless hearts You are at front when they are in need Sharing your poor feast earned hard Your humble shelter gives them shade When they fall on their feeble knees Your words inspire their inner faiths Once unruly storm blew on your own path Wonder! All doors were closed there and then Peeped sneaky eyes through half opened doors Teased your ears by their mocking giggles Get no fears; your vision cannot be perished Inner core of your harder than diamond Though you feel alone among acquaintance Be happy! your heart is still at right place Swarnapali Liyanage 06/06/2009
