ONE EXTREME TO ANOTHER

Ice and snow winter's blow
and then it rains for days
Then one day the sun breaks
and uncovers days of blaze
21 days without measurable rain
My garden now is groaning
For a little water moaning
I can't afford to water everyday
So the vegetables wilt away
But weeds and bugs survive it all
and eating whats left they have a ball
