Man, entrusted with God's Spirit commenced
a unisonous journey,
as roots of time veiled a newborn earth,
elements in harmony.
Man, ensnared in self wavered from the pledge,
a chasm for all mankind,
and discontented, earth spattered in pain,
yearning for the former times.
Man, endowed with grace, redeemed by the Son,
the Offering for all men.
Rejoicing, earth extols the reunion,
age of triumph over sin.
Man, ensnared in self dishonors the cross,
the heirs' arrogant contempt.
Tormented, earth hurls an angry torrent,
bids man to humbly repent.

2 Peter 3:9 [NCV]
The Lord is not slow in doing what He promised --
the way some people understand slowness.
But God is being patient with you.
He does not want anyone to be lost,
but He wants all people to change their hearts and lives.
