The Personal Touch
I am gentle among you,
Each and every day through;
Like a shepherd with his flock,
Kind thoughts flow while I talk.
Full of loving desire,
Just trying to inspire;
For you to delight in God,
While you honor and laud.
With the Lord and His Good News,
There is no way you can lose;
For to Him we are so dear,
And always wants to be near.
But like parent and child,
When we start to go wild;
The Lord has to discipline,
When we have committed sin.
If we are out of control,
God must banish our soul;
Because we show disrespect,
And of His rules we reject.
Oh how holy and upright,
You are when within the light;
When being in one accord,
With the Everlasting Lord.
It is that personal touch,
With a love that is so much;
Letting you call Him Father,
And Christ as your Brother.
