To a unique student in my class
Who stole silver smile from your gloomy face
you rush into my class as end of a race
pale skinned round faced bonny teen girl
do not let your life run in to such a whirl
Unruly anger frightens others in the class
chasing behind them you whack on their backs
don't tear books to pages or twist their hands
how I punish you;you are a daughter in distress
you lean against me while I check your book
I look at your eyes; I find your tearful look
your skinny fingers gently lock up my hands
Ambika! My heart cries for your uncaring pains
A motherless daughter, she missed love at six
she has a lot to tell me; it shows by her eyes
sorrowful memories packed her past treasure box
murmurs her hurtful woes to me along her sighs
Father's love escaped through back door for another
No wonder it hurts her, it is a pain to a daughter
unkind deeds of stepmother pinch her young heart
hide your face in my chest, cry as much as you want
Be courageous! There is a way for a life further
hold my hand, follow me from dark to a bright corner
seasons change;every spring follows chilly winter
Ambika! Wipe your tears off ; Let's smile together
