A cleansing fire rages within me,
erasing all vestiges of sin upon
the muddled landscape of my life.
The dirty waters of my soul have
been washed white and made pure
as freshly fallen snow.
A new and comforting light has
lit up the dark caverns of my heart
with the lantern of golden joy.
My life has been set free of all
turmoil and contentious strife of
iniquity because I've finally let
JESUS in.
