Ethereal Moments The Poetry of Donavon Scott Vinson
Sailing's Delight
A soft subtle breeze fills the
magnificent sails of my old boat.
The salty air of the sea lifts
my spirits to new heights.
My heart leaps with tremendous
joy and the effervescent light
of wondrous delight flashes
through my soul like gentle
bolts of lightning.
The sweet calling of the gulls
fills my ears with their raucous
celebration of life at sea.
And all becomes well in my
life as I humbly sail across
the wonderful blue seas.
