I am swallowed up by my heart's great debate.
My emotions swing back and forth between
terrible fury and overwhelming joy.
I sway back and forth trying to make up my mind
over what the best course of action might be.
Thoughts bounce all around my aching head
like a pinball but never come to peaceful rest.
Oh this indecision is killing me, why can't I
make up my mind; do I love her or do I not?
My heart says yes,but my mind says no,
so what can I do, but give it a rest and
begin to query my heart and mind another day.
