Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Relegated to history...

From mountain top I have viewed and found
snow capped peaks to green grassed lands
and between the two man's life exists
his hopes, his dreams, his treasures, his myths…
and from all I've found and from all I've seen
from son to brother to a father redeemed
that mankind's true path has yet to be known
for we still act like cavemen
…yet claim we have grown?
All intellect gained… seems gained for control
…for intelligent beings, how is that so?
Ten decades from now maybe man's view will be clear
…the snow peaks and green grass will be treasured as dear
and the turmoil man makes to satisfy blood's lust
will be relegated to history…
as all in life must!
