The Unique Love of God
The Father has given His love,
For us to be sharing thereof;
He has been loving us so much,
Giving care with His gentle touch.
Each one of us is His child,
No matter how much defiled;
As a wayward daughter or son,
Regardless of what we have done.
We cannot change just what we are,
Christ as a brother insofar;
What we will be is not real clear,
In a family God loves dear.
Confidence is keeping us pure,
As salvation remains secure;
Knowing that life will never end,
Through a Savior who is a friend.
Those who are living sinful lives,
Will be seeing when Christ arrives;
They will discover what is fear,
Before the Father they appear.
Those who sin disobey the Lord,
Since not abiding in His Word;
Never be children of the light,
Not being favored in His sight,
