Only Her Family

Photobucket
somewhere off in the distance dwells a recluse
always in her home never letting the world in
what happened in her life to make such a decision
only her family is allowed into her world

they seem to understand respecting her choice
but it hurts them to see her in her lonely existence
she was deeply hurt by a betrayal silently enduring
only her family is allowed into her world

she had her dreams she sees only the good times
when her mood changes she finally sees the dark
then she spends her days crying at the lost past
only her family is allowed into her world

her pain is deep her dreams are shattered lies were told
the betrayal was complete people dropped from sight
she retreated deep within herself she was so alone and hurt
only her family is allowed into her world
