On that day there shall be song,
That will be rejoicing as sung;
Throughout the day and all night long,
As the words flow over the tongue.
For we will have a strong fortress,
Salvation will be our wall;
No anxiety or distress,
Nothing will be making it fall.
Open up the gates out wide,
Letting the righteous to enter;
So they will remain safe inside,
From the satanic tormenter.
As peace will protect those whose minds,
That will not change because of trust;
Thoughts of the Lord that always binds,
Knowing that He is true and just.
God is an everlasting rock,
Eternal salvation of hope;
Who always guides me as I walk,
Comforting when having to cope.
And on that day all of my foes,
Being judged for their desire;
As I watch and see their blood flows,
Down into the lake of fire.
