Relationships with Unbelievers
Your mouth opens wide,
As your heart has grown;
While you abide,
In Christ on His throne.
It is not feelings,
Or your affections;
When you have dealings,
With imperfections.
For as you embark,
Round about this world;
Cordial in the dark,
Strife could be unfurled.
For the unbeliever,
That would never laud;
Cannot deliver,
Pay homage to God.
They only deceive,
Someone that is near;
Making you believe,
Not as they appear.
Do not be a friend,
Whoever lauds lust;
Finding in the end,
A friendship not just.
