Envision us
taking a brisk walk
into another time
Through the clouds along the hills
as we climb into the paths
of other lives
Into the doorways
of space less journeys
On the other side
of the looking glass
As we peek behind our shadows
and observe the
simplicity of a picture
set up in the skies
With the scenes of adventure
before us playing
with our imaginative eyes
Taken back to the ages of reality
the tricks of the mind
begin to blur
As we disconnect from our shells
into our inner depths
searching for those celestial secrets
and harmonious mysteries
We are powerless to intervene
as we are left only to be
the distant observers
Along the streams of fantasies
revealing secrets
and silenced with penetrating questions
