Transforming Power
Having now such a hope,
Giving a wider scope;
Salvation once we lack,
Now nothing is held back.
So boldly we can speak,
For the Kingdom we seek;
With such jubilation,
Knowing about salvation.
But not like Moses did,
Face shined and had it hid;
The glory was so bright,
Blinded all of their sight.
All of their minds made numb,
Making them feel so glum;
As Moses read each Law,
Showing every flaw.
So a veil hides the heart,
As means for them to thwart;
Desires to get out,
To leave a cloud of doubt.
But for you and me today,
Christ stripped the veil away;
Letting us be transformed,
And for being reformed.
