Walking through the meadow
On a cool summer day

Please help me dry my eyes

I thought about last evening
When I wished upon the stars
I asked God for forgiveness
For the hatred that I felt
That is when He heard me
On my knees is where I knelt

While In our Bible class
She said that I was funny

She smiled just like an angel
I knew it was the start
I felt that I could give up
