Place of Worship and Rest
Six days we do our best,
In all that we apt to do;
But one is a day of rest,
That God says that we are due.
That promise still stands today,
But all of us have come short;
To honor love and obey,
With desire to support.
Rest and worship time exists,
For all the children of God;
Not just rest but it consists,
The time to honor and laud.
The same Good News in the Word,
Throughout the generations past;
As what our fathers heard,
But losing their meaning fast.
Many more do not receive,
The joy of His Salvation;
Since they no longer believe,
And slated for damnation.
Just one day every week,
In worshiping the Lord;
The other six you can seek,
While His blessings are poured.
