LAST NIGHT

*LAST NIGHT*

As the sun rises in the sky
Contentedly in your arms I lie
A smile creeps right across my face
As you hold me in your embrace.

My thoughts wander back to last night
When the moon was shining so bright
And the stars twinkled way up high
In the blackness of the sky.

As we held each other tight
On that beautiful moonlit night
I could feel your heart next to mine
The feeling was simply divine.

As you lifted my face to yours
You never even gave a pause,
Your lips found mine and then we kissed
That moment I wouldn`t have missed.

Your words sent shivers down my spine
I am so glad that you are mine,
You whisked me up into your arms
And won me over with your charms.

Together our souls did unite
On that most romantic night,
So now I smile with sheer delight
At what we shared just last night.
