A Contented Life
What can you really say?
Is God truly unfair?
Never try to convey,
That the Lord does not care.
He will always be kind,
To all that He wants to;
Gracious to ease the mind,
Comforting each day through.
The Lord has put us here,
For a special reason;
Showing He is sincere,
In all He has given.
Though His power and might,
Take you when gone astray;
Banish you from His sight,
Make you a lump of clay.
For He is the potter,
Who can mold you at will;
As a fish in water,
Or an ant on his hill.
But His mercy and grace,
All we need He will give;
To live here in this place,
A pleasing life to live
