Faculty Of The Mind: By Michael Ssemakula

Bloodline Half Strangers

Blood is rumored to be thicker than water, though ...

One shouldn't anticipate that all is well with bully halfs

Especially with dream killer spouses who wish so hard

To reclaim territories with disrespect, it exposes foolishness

Wicked folks will forge strife that will never be called for

Precious years pilling into no regrets of shameful realities

Love should never be used as a weapon of selfishness

Nor should relationships be built on foundations of lies

It disarms self-esteem and may dig for its rightful roots

False witnessing and empty victories stirred in hatred

Master pieces, we are; no duplicate neither in status

But favor lingered all over my head in true diligence

It’s just a matter of choice not a staged contested race

I ignored blowing my own horn in most opportunities

"The guilty are afraid"; I still compromised my options

The outcomes after then, are way beyond my creation

I reckon "No weapon formed against me shall prosper"

The jingle became my front-line as I was believed out

My downfall was called out by the very people who

Happily nourished resentment towards my being

I now know that; not all hatred is committed with intent

But varies in upbringing, wiring and rising in falsehood airs

And that spouses we pick in life, may determine our destiny
