I have looked around to see
Some meaning to writing poetry
No one reads allot of poets write
So my work is hidden in plain site
Took my novel to see a agent
It was a waste of time that I spent
You can not have two detectives the lady said
She condemned the novel not one word read
But lady two detectives part of the plot
Not something my Editors have sought
So my work is rejected not one word read
The rest of the day in rejection in my bed
Those who continue to write time well spent
But trust me one write in ninety nine pays the rent
Someday I would like to prove this agent wrong
To be amongst the one percent I would belong
But not many on this site another work critique
And if we don't help each other our work is weak
