My prayers to Lord
I am alone myself at your feet here To appeal a grace before your eyes near After crowd vanished off morning mass I know you've time to listen my despairs Every Sunday, behind huge gathering I was at last bench just staring You're the healer for all our pains And almighty path I can keep faiths You gaze at me as you know me well Lord, please help me out on this toil I know your vision changes their doom Please, would you visit my bleak home? Mom estranged us long years ago My dad really a harsh man of ego He has no wits; roams around pubs; Curses us to die or meddles in fights My brother's in jail where he imprisons He is not a thief; but stole two loaves My sister lives in her own dark palace What she loves most is only cannabis I love going school to learn my lessons No matter children scorn at me in class studying well and have a decent life; Please, help me to be away from strife There is no life without your guidance Please, Lord Jesus visit my home once Only you can give us a new difference If we are blessed with your presence Swarnapali Liyanage 26/09/2009
