Our Profession of Faith
This is truly the Word,
From Christ that we have heard;
That is completely true,
And reporting to you.
For our God is light,
Having power and might;
Has no darkness that hides,
Within Him that abides.
If we relate to God,
Worship honor and laud;
Yet still live in the dark,
The truth cannot embark.
If we say we believe,
But still sin we deceive;
The truth is not within,
When we are full of sin.
You cannot live in crud,
And be cleansed in the blood;
That flows out of His Son,
Still be a chosen one.
So if we will confess,
Jesus will cleanse and bless,
Be in the light and stay,
As long as we not stray.
