Ana Claudia Antunes is licensed in Artistic Education at the University FAAP in Sao Paulo. As dancer for the Young Ballet of Sao Paulo and for the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre into the United States, she performed in Dance/Theatre groups, among them the Ormand Dance Company from Germany. Also known as Deca, as an international model for the US/European and South American market, she signed a contract with Ford Models in LA and Sao Paulo, and worked in Chile for "Ministerio de la Educacion". She was the illustrator of the magazine "Magia" in Brazil (by Editora Ondas in 1990). She wrote poems and short-stories for an anthology by Mackenzie Publishing (1984). Her poems were also published in the National Literary Magazine "Mirante" on the jul-sept/2006 Edition) Since 1990, she has been writing and illustrating poems for semi-autobiographical Picture Books, fictions and non-fictions.
