Under skies of Passion
The moon stilled
Within desires of time passed
While one looked past the horizon
Finding a poet Immersed in thought
Gazing with his heart
While quietly listening
One became a shadow of thought
Placed somewhere
Along an echo of sunshine and dreams
There began a waltz
Strung across the galaxies
Touching upon the tails of comets
Sailing across Jupiter
Who whispered
Singing to Saturn
When the sounds of Venus
Looked back upon Earth,
From a depth unknown to man
Except for the poet
Who knew it was just another dance
Scribbled upon seas and oceans
Of mysteries and romance
Mars with red sands and fire
Expanded desires into the Milky Way
So the Angels could touch harps
And the ladies would find love
Within skies of passion
Under the stilled moon
While shadows gazed
Following along
Within poets dreams
