Welcome to my heart
and to my Heart's Song

I am so glad
that you have dropped in
to meet a new face,
and experience a new heart.

Come along with me, as
Aspiring Angel, speaks to
me in whispers, that brings
her thoughts to live upon a
blank posting page.

Hopefully, as you thumb through
my pages, you too, will begin to
think of Aspiring as a friend,
that truly does aspire to be.

She was given her name by a
very dear friend, whom also was
my poetic mentor.

I lost her to Cancer.

I sometimes wonder what she
would think of Aspiring's musings.
It was because of her, that
Aspiring found her wings,
so many years, back in time.

A Handbook
For Aspiring Angels . . .

Her last gift to me.

It was at that point in my
life that I finally found a
name for the little voice that
urges me to come before my keys.

We have traveled down many pathways,
Aspiring and I.

Many chapters are now closed to us.
Many new chapters are waiting
to be discovered and shared.

We invite you to join us,
as we continue on our journey.

Our 'Heart Songs' will lead you
to joy, hope, fears, and yes, at times,
we may even bring you to a tear or two.

We speak always from our heart,
and in a way, that we hope,
will touch your heart enough
that you will want to visit us again,
leaving your heart prints behind
for us to find and cherish.

Over the rainbow, at the end of the
yellow brick road, you will find us
waiting to welcome you to our hearts.

The coffee is always on.
The welcome mat is at
the front door.

The muse and the poet, will
try to make you feel at home.
