Kindle a Flame

Kindle a flame within my heart,
Let it spread to every part.
Consuming the selfish inner me.
Until there's only a burning love for Thee.

Place a fiery coal upon my lips
So no evil or impure word slips.
May my words point others to Thee,
And not turn the focus onto me.

Fan the fire in my soul
Let it rage beyond control.
Let Thy light shine forth from me,
And lead lost sheep unto Thee.
