Another fine young man graduating today,
Bringing joy to our family I truly must say;
At times it was like you'd never get thru,
However, your diploma proves what you can do!
Relax, take a breather, rest up for a spell,
There'll be choices for you to think about well;
What will you do with the rest of your life?
College, military, a local job or a wife?
Whatever you do don't just jump into it,
Take time and meditate before you do it;
Since all phases of life can be very hard,
In making lifetime choices be on guard!
Sometimes you might feel blue, down and out,
You will find that's what life is all about;
Although such lows will put you to the test,
Always pursue your goals with rigor and zest!
