Many of my pieces you might find a little Rant like. Some of them are in development or have been performed (by me) as Slam pieces.
If you like open mike, but love more of a theater setting and feeling, and love competition then try Slam Poetry. Under stage lights the poet must perform his/her original piece in 3 minutes or less then be judged by crowd reaction, and content. Unfortunately they usually give the "new" people in the crowd the score paddles, and they sometimes seem to not have a clue. But Oh well.
