I don't ordinarily enjoy telling what a poem is supposed to mean.
To me, you have the right to enjoy something in your own way.
However some of the poetry may put myself or the subject in a negative light and it/I should be defended
Numb- One of my favorites, written at a time in my life when I should be happy, but the bad outweighed some of the good, it refers to dreaming as an escape because in theory you can't get hurt in dreams
He - In June 2005, I was reading Seventeen magazine, & in the memoir section there was an article about a twenty year old girl who's twin brother Josh Horne killed himself a year before the suicide note(in the issue) was published.
Infatuation- A place that we all have shamefully been
Runaway - To me a very true story, and its a pleasure to even feel this way
Black & White - My take on the tradition of "Be friends with one but don't bring one home" Here in the South (Interracial relationships)
Far, Far Away - Deals with something I have honestly no experience with and that is Addiction. However I have seen it many times and it is painfull for everyone in contact with the addicted
She Wants it All - Deals with the troubles of being an adolescent girl, you might say that it is a little more angsty than what it really is, but if you agree then you may not be an adolescent girl :)
So Ordinary - Alludes to a relationship during troubled times
