I've been writing since 1992, when I was at the ripe old age of 14.
I was a writer & editor for my high school newspaper. I was also an editor & writer for my high school literary magazine.
In 9th grade I wrote a one act play that was read on TV through a program
called The Playwrights Project in San Diego.
I was published in Parade Magazine's Fresh Voices column in November
of 1996, and broke their record for the most letters in response to a
Column.
I was an editor and writer for my college newspaper for 3 years.
I won 3rd place, in an on the spot editorial competition at a college journalism convention in 2000. |
